Aden Carter (They/Them)
Aden is excited to be joining the team here at the Urban Abbey as the Primary Barista and Manager for the Coffee Bar. They are thrilled to be a part of the Abbey and be able to share their love of connection through coffee with the community here!
Aden is originally from Walls, Mississippi but moved to Omaha in 2013. They graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in December of 2023 with a BA in Music with a concentration in Instrumental Music and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. They currently attend Arizona State University via online in pursuit of a MA in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies. In their free time, they enjoy playing trombone with the Nebraska Medical Orchestra. Their current dream is to write a memoir detailing how being raised in the Deep South has intersected with their experience of gender identity and sexuality.
